PawTeams Privacy Policy
Last updated: January 11, 2026
PawTeams (“PawTeams,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is operated by Foxagile LLC. PawTeams provides a shared task tracker made for pet owners (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the Service.
If you have questions, contact us at support@pawteams.com.
1) Information we collect
A. Information you provide
- Account information: name, email address, and authentication method (Google sign-in or email + password).
- Team information: team name, invitations you send, and team membership.
- Task content: tasks you create or manage (titles, notes, schedule details, recurrence settings, rotation/assignee settings), completion status, and history.
- Comments: any comments you post on tasks.
- Support communications: messages you send us (for example, bug reports or account help).
B. Information we receive from Google (if you use “Sign in with Google”)
If you sign in with Google, we receive basic profile information such as your email address and name, and a Google account identifier used to link your login to your PawTeams account.
Google API data use disclosure (Limited Use): Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In practice, this means we use Google-provided information only to authenticate you and provide core, user-facing PawTeams features, and not to sell your Google data or use it for ad targeting/retargeting.
C. Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages/screens viewed, timestamps, and crash/diagnostic logs.
- Cookies / local storage: we use cookies or similar technologies to keep you signed in and to operate the Service (for example, session tokens).
D. Notification subscription data
If you opt into task notifications, we store information needed to deliver them (for example, a push subscription endpoint and related keys, and your notification preferences such as “assigned to you” vs “all tasks,” “upcoming,” and/or “overdue”).
2) How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service (including task scheduling, recurrence, rotation, completion/undo, comments, history, and notifications).
- Authenticate users and secure accounts (including email verification).
- Facilitate team collaboration (sharing tasks, comments, and completion history with your team).
- Send service messages (verification codes, invitations, notifications you opted into, and important account/service updates).
- Prevent abuse, enforce our terms, and protect the safety and integrity of the Service.
- Provide customer support.
3) How information is shared
We may share information in these situations:
A. With your team
PawTeams is collaborative by design. Depending on your team settings and actions:
- Team members may see tasks, assignees/rotation, completion status, history, and comments.
- Team members may see limited account info such as your name and potentially your email (for invitations and team management).
B. Service providers (processors)
We use third-party providers to host and operate the Service, such as:
- Cloud hosting/infrastructure: AWS (hosting, databases, logging, etc.).
- Email delivery: providers used to send verification emails and invitations (for example, Amazon SES if configured).
These providers are authorized to process information only to provide services to us.
C. Legal, safety, and business transfers
We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, to investigate fraud/security issues, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (in which case we’ll take steps to protect your information).
4) Data retention
We keep personal information as long as needed to provide the Service, meet legal/accounting requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You can request deletion of your account (see “Your choices” below). Some information may be retained for a limited period for security, fraud prevention, backups, or legal compliance.
5) Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords (for email/password accounts), and access controls.
6) Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information.
Account deletion: You can request account deletion by contacting support@pawteams.com with your account email.
Notifications: You can opt out of notifications at any time in the app and/or via your device/browser notification settings.
7) International transfers
We may process and store information in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. These locations may have different data protection laws than your region.
8) Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9) Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” and may provide additional notice in the app or via email for material changes.
